Walmart Moves Upmarket – WSJ


Walmart “everyday low prices” motto is paying off with a widening set of shoppers, although at a price to its margins.

The retail large stated on Tuesday that its Walmart-branded U.S. chain’s same-store sales grew 6.5% from a yr earlier within the quarter ended July 29, higher than the 6% progress it forecast in last month’s update.
