LAHORE – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday urged the government to hold talks with the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik.
In a press statement, Shehbaz Sharif said that issues should be resolved through dialogue. He added that government has done nothing other than filing cases against political opponents in last three years.
Meanwhile, Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz on Saturday appeared before a Lahore Accountability Court in money laundering and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases. At the outset of the hearing, the associate lawyer of Shehbaz Sharif informed the court that Amjad Pervaiz, the main lawyer in the case is infected with the dengue virus and pleaded for a new date for the hearing of the case. The court asked the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) about the report in the case. “Report is incomplete,” replied the FIA counsel. The court extended the pre-arrest bails of both the accused persons till November 20,
