Pittsburgh police investigating after employees of Shadyside pizza shop robbed, carjacked after work


Pittsburgh police are investigating after a carjacking and armed theft in Shadyside early Thursday morning.

According to police, officers responded to the 200 block of South Highland Avenue at 2:47 a.m. for a report of a carjacking.

Police stated witnesses reported three grownup males approaching two employees of a close-by pizza shop after their shift and robbing the employees at gunpoint. The suspects stole money, private objects and jewellery.

All three suspects had been reportedly carrying firearms, police stated.

The suspects left the scene within the sufferer’s automobile, and went within the path of Centre Avenue.
