Oppo has launched its new smartphone Oppo A54s in the UK. The device is the successor to the Oppo A54 smartphone that was launched in India in April. Price and global availability of the new smartphone are not officially announced by the company yet but it can be expected that the device will make its way in the Indian market soon.
Oppo A54s: Design and display
Oppo A54s smartphone will be available in two colour options – Crystal Black and Pearl Blue. The device sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate and 269ppi pixel density. It also has a water drop style notch at the front that houses the selfie camera. The device is IPX4 water-resistant, 8.4mm thick and weighs 190 grams.

The new Oppo smartphone is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Out of the box, the device will run on Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1 operating system. When it comes to sensors, the device has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, geomagnetic sensor, gravity sensor and proximity sensor on board. It is a dual SIM smartphone and it supports 5G connectivity. For security, the device sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with a face unlock feature.
Oppo A54s: Camera
When it comes to camera, the Oppo A54s smartphone has an AI-supported triple camera setup at the back. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel mono sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the device sports an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
Oppo A54s: Battery
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery and a listing on Amazon Italy suggests that it gets 10W charging support. To boost the battery life of the device, the company has added super power-saving mode and super nighttime standby mode.
