Maharashtra information: Two unidentified individuals allegedly tried to break in to two ATMs in Bhiwandi city of Maharashtra’s Thane district, police stated on Thursday.

An offence below sections 380 (theft) and 511 (attempt to commit offence) 427 (mischief inflicting harm) of the IPC has been registered on Wednesday evening following a criticism, the station home officer of Bhiwandi city police station stated.

Two individuals tried to break into an ATM of Thane District Central Co-operative Bank at Mandai round 3.45 am on Wednesday and so they later tried to extract money from an ATM of PNB on Bhiwandi-Kalyan Road round 5:00 am, the official stated.

The accused tried to open the machines utilizing a screwdriver to take away money, he stated, including that each machines have been broken in the attempt.
