Latest leak suggests launch date for next Samsung flagship phone

Well-known tipster Jon Prosser has revealed some key details about the much-anticipated Galaxy S22 series smartphones. The tipster in a tweet posted earlier today claims to confirm pre-order and sale date for the upcoming Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones.
In the tweet, Posser claims that the Galaxy S22 series smartphones will go on pre-orders starting February 8 and are expected to go on sale on February 18.
Samsung is expected to announce three Galaxy S22 smartphones — Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Reports also suggest that all three models will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 or the company’s own Exynos 2200SoC, depending upon the region. Both the chipsets will be based on a 4nm process. It is also rumoured that the Exynos 2200 will feature a more powerful GPU from AMD compared to Adreno GPU.
Other speculated features include an AMOLED panel with an LTPO backplane and 120Hz refresh rate. The smaller Galaxy S22 is expected to feature a 6.06-inch display, the Galaxy S22+ will come with a 6.55-inch display and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly have a massive 6.81-inch curved display.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy S22 lineup is also speculated to feature an improved setup from the ongoing models. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will most likely share the camera setup of a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor. The Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 108MP primary sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP telephoto and a 10MP periscope.
All three phones will come with One UI 4 based on Android 12. The battery pack on all three phones are most likely to remain the same as their S21 counterparts. That means, the Galaxy S22 will feature a 3700mAh battery, the Galaxy S22+ will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery and the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have the biggest 5000mAh battery. It is also rumoured that the entire series will support 45W fast charging.
