CUET-UG postponed at few centres due to technical glitches, admit cards still legitimate: NTA


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced that the Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022, scheduled for August 4, has been postponed at a few centres throughout 17 states. The NTA mentioned that the CUET-UG has been postponed due to administrative and technical causes. The company has additionally mentioned that the identical admit cards shall be legitimate for candidates whose CUET-UG examination has been postponed.

The first day of the second part of the CUET for undergraduate programs was marred by a number of points, with many candidates claiming that they had to face technical glitches and a few alleging their examination was postponed.

In an official assertion, the NTA mentioned, “Due to varied administrative and technical causes, the CUET-UG 2022 examination scheduled for August 4 (first shift) has been postponed to August 12 for a few examination centres.”

“In case August 12-14 is not suitable, the candidates can send an email to [email protected] mentioning their desired date and roll numbers,” the NTA assertion learn.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday postponed the CUET-UG in Kerala due to heavy rains within the state, officers mentioned.

The second part of CUET-UG, which was underway in the remainder of the nation and 9 cities overseas, will proceed till August 6. Nearly 6.8 lakh candidates had registered for the second part of the check.

“Due to heavy rain in lots of districts of Kerala in previous few days, it has been introduced to the discover of NTA that it will not be doable for numerous candidates to attain the examination centre for CUET (UG) – 2022 inside stipulated time because the motion shall be very troublesome and there could also be disruption of energy,” said Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director, NTA.

“Therefore, to support the student community, it has been decided to postpone the CUET (UG) – 2022 for the candidates who will be appearing in cities of Kerala State for 04, 05 and 06 August 2022,” she added.
