WASHINGTON—Amazon.com Inc. received dismissal on Friday of an antitrust lawsuit introduced in opposition to it by the District of Columbia, which had alleged that the corporate harmed customers by blocking sellers on its market from providing higher offers elsewhere.
The lawsuit was tossed out by D.C. Superior Court Judge Hiram Puig-Lugo, in line with a docket entry, primarily based on Amazon’s movement to dismiss. The movement was opposed by D.C. Attorney General Karl Racine, whose workplace stated it was contemplating an enchantment.
